FOR THE LOVE OF CHILDREN:
Between 2003 & 2011, Manja donated 100% of her proceeds to children and families in need.
Over the years, the proceeds from clients and customers like you have gone to help the following:
Osannide Village AIDS Orphanage - Bussi Island, Uganda, Africa - Manja and Sonja have both visited this orphanage on seperate occassions. Manja went to teach the women how to sew on new sewing machines donated by a dear friend. Sonja went to minister to the children and let them know how much we love them and how we are working to help support them here in the States. Below are pictures of a few of the kids while Sonja visited at Osannide.
Remember Nhu - a pro-active organization that prevents high risk children from entering into the sex slave trade in Cambodia and in the Philippines by adopting them, educating them, and giving them job training to be successful and self-sufficient without resorting to prostitution. This is a very difficult task in that culture and economic environment.
Living Water - bringing wells to areas of the world that do not have clean drinking water. Imagine not having water you can drink or cook with without making you and your children sick!
Invisible Children - an organization that rescues and cares for child soldier survivors. These children have to overcome the most unspeakable horrors which are way beyond our comprehension.
The Next Door, Inc. - Hood River, OR - an organization that provides services to children and families in need in our community - especially those in domestic violence situations. Gorge Grown Farmer's Market - Hood River, OR - locally grown produce and artisan foods; community education about growing healthy food in healthy ways
FISH Food Bank - Hood River, OR - because no one should have to go hungry
