We offer 3 levels of face painting to meet different venue and budgetary needs. Each level offers a wide variety of design choices.
We can also tailor our designs to a specific theme or special event. You may book up to 6 of our artists for any event.


BEFORE YOU CONTACT US to get a quote or book a party or event, you will need to know approximately how many people you want us to serve and what level of service you want us to provide, so we can determine how many hours that will require. Please see the chart below to get an idea of how many people we can realistically paint per hour.


Please NOTE that we have minimum hour requirements for each level and time of the week, depending. It takes time and prep work before and after each gig, plus the travel time involved, so we cannot book under the minimums or else we end up losing money. We also have overhead costs that involve everything from training to insurance to advertising and supplies. This is not a hobby, this is our work and how we earn our living. "But I only need you to paint 6 children for the party!" Awesome! We can make those really special and maybe add on some tattoos or use that time to create really fantastic face/body art that they will never forget! Either way, if we don't stick to our minimums, we are not getting paid for our time, materials, and labor.


Our RATES VARY, depending on the time of the week, location of event, number of hours and artists required, etc. Weekends and Holidays book fast and are in high demand, so our rates are lower for mid-week and slow seasons. We offer Day Rates for large events and we offer cut rates for non-profits when we are able to accommodate. Please contact us for a quote after you have determined your needs.

Please note that there are often circumstances we will take into consideration that may affect our final bid, 
such as waiving travel fees if we are already going to be in your area or special discounts for slow times or repeat customers!
So, it's always best to Request A Quote because you may be eligible for a reduced rate for your event! 

Level 1 = "FAST FACES"

BASIC FAST FACES

If you have a lot of people to get through in a limited time or you're on a limited budget, this is the level you probably need. We work hard to be able to produce fast results that deliver that WOW! factor.  This is not your typical "cheek art". 
We've developed shortcuts and methods that allow us to create some pretty amazing designs in 2-3 minutes each.  


Average of 15-25 guests per hour, per artist,

Minimum 2 hour booking, per artist weekdays

Level 2 = "FAVE FACES"

ALWAYS POPULAR FAVORITES

A large variety of favorite designs proven to please.
This is the most popular level of face painting chosen for birthday parties with average of 50 guests or less.  For larger events, you will need more than one of our artists. 


Average of 6-12 guests per hour, per artist,

Minimum 1.5 hour booking, per artist weekdays

Level 3 = "FAB FACES"

FABULOUS & FANTASTIC

For small parties, private sessions, photo shoots, special promotions...
These designs include more details in the line-work, blending, shading, layering, and extra attention to bling (gem-stones, rhinestones, liquid glitter gel, lashes, etc.)  

Ave. 4-6 guests per hour, per artist, 
depending on choices and variables* 
as well as complexity.  

Some complex designs can take 30-60 minutes.  
Talk to your artist about your individual needs and preferences 
at the time of booking.

*Choices & Variables"

The time spent on each guest determines in large how many faces an artist can complete in an hour.

The time spent on each guest varies, depending on
  •  CHOICES: they know what they want when they sit down,
  •  INDECISION: the time the artist needs to spend with them to narrow it down if they are indecisive, and most importantly, 
  •  TRANSITION TIME:  how long it takes the guest to get out of the chair and make way for the next person in line.  

Transition Time varies by the way the guests respond to the artists' guidance and whether there is interference, such as a parent making suggestions to the child about their choices or someone wanting to take photographs while the guest is seated in the artist's chair, rather than after they have gotten down to make room for the next person in line.

The artist makes every effort to minimize Transition Times, but only has so much control over the choices and responses of each guest.

What you can do to help minimize Transition Times:: 
  • BACK UP YOUR ARTIST - listen to her cues and follow her lead.  She is skilled at guiding people through the process, but if there is interference by unsupervised children or other adults on scene, there's only so much she can do.
  • Encourage your guests to take photographs away from the artist's work station.  You can suggest a spot on location that would be suitable for taking photos or the artist can bring a portable photo shoot area for an additional $15.00 set-up fee.
  • Encourage your guests to allow the artist to work out the details of the child's design choices.  "Trust her.  She'll come up with something great!"
  • Keep an eye out for unattended, curious, or unruly children.  The artist cannot be responsible for supervising children.
